Jama Connect® displays a purple, floating AI Assistant icon within the application, providing access to information about Jama Intelligence™, a suite of AI-powered capabilities designed to help engineering teams work more efficiently.
Jama Intelligence brings together the Jama Intelligence Assistant and Jama Connect Advisor™ capabilities to help teams:
- Improve requirements quality through AI-assisted analysis and recommendations.
- Generate test cases to support verification and validation activities.
- Identify traceability gaps to improve coverage and visibility.
- Discover relationships between engineering items to support informed decision-making.
Integrated into Jama Connect, Jama Intelligence helps teams incorporate AI into their workflows while maintaining established user permissions, traceability, and change controls. Users remain responsible for reviewing AI-generated outputs and approving changes.

Resolution
The purple AI Assistant icon is displayed by default in Jama Connect and may be visible even if your organization has not purchased Jama Intelligence Assistant.
There is currently no setting to hide or disable the icon. Its presence does not indicate that your organization has purchased or enabled the Assistant.
No action is required. The icon is an expected part of the Jama Connect interface.
