Can you export expanded links from the Links Widget?

Summary

When exporting Links from the Links Widget, the exported document can contain a count of the number of links, but not the full expanded links themselves. To export a full link, add links to a rich text text box field.

Solution

Add links to a rich text text box field rather than to the Links widget. This will allow exports to contain the full, expanded links.

1. Add a rich text text box field to the desired item type to contain the links (Requires Admin permission). Ensure Rich Text is selected from the Text Components drop down list.

    

2. In the items in the project, add desired links to the new text box field. 

   

3. Now the links will be exportable in their expanded state from this new field.
