Summary
When reviewing the Organization Activity Stream, users may see that multiple users were removed from a group at once. This typically occurs when the 'Clear All Users' option is used on the Users page.
However, user removal is only applied after the change is saved. If 'Clear All Users' is selected but the edit is not saved, no users are removed and no activity is recorded.
The Activity Stream entry confirms that both actions were completed: selecting 'Clear All Users' and saving the change.
Resolution
Confirm user removal in the Org Activity Stream
To verify that users were removed from a group, review the Org Activity Stream.
Navigate to the Org Activity Stream.
Locate the entry showing multiple users removed from the group.
Use this entry to confirm that the change was applied.
An entry in the Activity Stream indicates that the update was saved successfully. If no entry is present, the change was not saved and no users were removed.
Understand what triggers the update
User removal from a group requires both selecting the option and saving the change.
Select 'Clear All Users' from the Users page.
Save the changes to apply the update.
Both steps must be completed for users to be removed and for the action to appear in the Activity Stream.
Prevent confusion
Be aware that selecting 'Clear All Users' alone does not remove users.
If the change is not saved, users remain in the group and no Activity Stream entry is created. Always save changes to ensure the intended action takes effect and is recorded.
