Summary
After renaming a workflow status picklist value used by an item type, the item's Status field may display the new label correctly, but the workflow transition dropdown may still show the old label.
Resolution
Below you will find an example and instructions on how to change the Action Text.

In the Admin panel, under the Organization tab, please locate and select Workflow.

Please find the Test Case item type and click Config. This will display the configuration settings for the Test Case item type's workflow. The example below uses the Validation item type.

Under the Workflow Transitions listed, find the status you would like to change and view the Action Text. If the Action Text differs from the status, please edit the Action Text so that they both match. If needed, please refer to the example below.
The value written for the Action Text is displayed in the dropdown menu.
For example, if the Action Text is "Ready for Tech Review", that would be displayed in the dropdown menu. To change this, you would need to modify the Action Text for the "Ready for Peer Review" status from "Ready for Tech Review" to "Ready for Peer Review".
Save the workflow configuration.

Refresh the browser and validate the transition dropdown on both a new and existing item.
