Summary
When a user runs a report and exports, the report is saved in the Reports History tab. Who can delete and clear up reports from the Reports History tab?
Solution
The answer to this question is both the Jama application and the manual by users with the required permissions. The scenarios are detailed as follows:
- Reports older than seven (7) days should be automatically removed from the reports history page through a daily job that runs in the background.
- As for users and permissions, Org. Admins can view personal history and other users' history and can manually remove any reports listed. Project Admins can only view personal history, and users can manually delete their exports.
There is an exception to consider. If users cannot remove personal reports from the Report History, it is most likely because they need write permissions in the project where the report was run. Users can export data from Jama Connect® as long as they have read permissions, but they will be affected by permissions (or license) restrictions when attempting to delete the reports.
