All Item Details Report Generation

Summary

When running Export → View All Export Options → All Item Details in Jama Connect, the export is based on the items in the results list, not on which items are selected. As a result, you may see more items exported than expected. Also, the standard export/report run produces one combined output file, not one file per item.

Resolution

The selected rows do not control what gets included in the All Item Details export; the export is generated from whatever items are currently displayed in the results list. To export only a specific set of items, create and apply a filter that returns only those items, then run the report from the filtered results so only those items are in the results list at export time.

If you need a separate Word/PDF file per item, the report must be run separately for each item to produce individual files.
