Summary

Project Administrators may be unable to see all organization users when attempting to add members to a Project Group.

The users and organization groups available to Project Administrators are controlled by the organization-level setting 'Allow project administrators access to all users and organization groups'.

  • When enabled, Project Administrators can see users and organization groups across all projects.
  • When disabled, Project Administrators can see only users and groups that already have access to their project.

For more information about the Project Administrator role and permissions, see Managing projects.

Resolution

An Organization Administrator can review and update this setting:

  1. Navigate to ADMIN > Organization > Details.
  2. Locate 'Allow project administrators access to all users and organization groups'.
  3. Enable the setting if Project Administrators need access to users and organization groups outside of those already associated with their project.
  4. Save the changes.

Once enabled, Project Administrators should be able to access the broader list of users and organization groups when managing Project Groups.

For additional information about this organization-level setting, see Configure organization details.
