Summary
This article explains how to identify the installed version of Jama Connect.
Resolution
Option 1: When Logged Out
- Navigate to the Jama Connect login page.
- Locate the version information displayed on the page.
Note:
- If SAML/SSO authentication is enabled, the login page may be bypassed. Users will need to log in and follow the steps in Option 2 below.
- In self-hosted instances where SAML/SSO authentication is enabled, System Administrators may still be able to access the login page via the root access URL (
BASEURL/casper/login.req).
Option 2: When Logged In
- Log in to Jama Connect.
- Navigate to any project.
- Click the 'Learn More' tab.
- The installed version is displayed on this page.
Note:
Once the 'Learn More' tab is closed, it will not reappear unless you log out and log back in.
Access to this information depends on the user’s license type (available for all license types except Reviewer).
