This article explains how to identify the installed version of Jama Connect.

Resolution

Option 1: When Logged Out

  1. Navigate to the Jama Connect login page.
  2. Locate the version information displayed on the page.

Note:

  • If SAML/SSO authentication is enabled, the login page may be bypassed. Users will need to log in and follow the steps in Option 2 below.
  • In self-hosted instances where SAML/SSO authentication is enabled, System Administrators may still be able to access the login page via the root access URL (BASEURL/casper/login.req).

Option 2: When Logged In

  1. Log in to Jama Connect.
  2. Navigate to any project.
  3. Click the 'Learn More' tab.
  4. The installed version is displayed on this page.

Note:

  • Once the 'Learn More' tab is closed, it will not reappear unless you log out and log back in.

  • Access to this information depends on the user’s license type (available for all license types except Reviewer).
