How to Add File Types to the Jama Connect® Attachment Whitelist

Summary

Before adding a file type to the Jama Attachment whitelist, please ensure it is not an executable file. This can pose a security risk and is not supported. 

Resolution

To add the filetype to the Jama whitelist, please follow the steps below:

• Log in to your Jama instance with root credentials.
• Navigate to System Properties
• Click on Edit
• Add the file type under the section: "Attachment File Extensions (comma, space, or newline delimited) Set to blank to reset."
  
• Click Save to ensure the changes persist.
