Summary
If an administrator accidentally deactivates their own user in Jama Connect Cloud, they immediately lose access and can’t manage users. If another active admin exists, that admin can reactivate the account. If no active admin remains, Jama Support must restore admin access.
Resolution
Another active admin is available
- Go to Admin / Organization / Users
- Filter to show Inactive users
- Locate the deactivated user
- Reactivate / Activate the user
If no active administrator is available to log in and reactivate the user, contact Jama Support and provide:
- Your Jama Cloud instance URL
- The affected user’s name and email
