Jama Connect Interchange™ v1.34
Status Fields Can Now Be Synced Bidirectionally
Bidirectional syncing of Status fields in Jama Connect and Jira is now fully supported, even when workflow rules are enabled on those fields. Previously, bidirectional status sync required workflow rules to be turned off.
Status updates now flow freely between Jama Connect and Jira as long as each system's workflow rules permit the transition. For example, a Jira item is transitioned from "To Do" to "In Progress" only if the Jira workflow rules are configured to allow it.
Resolved Issues
| ID | Module | Description |
| SOS-DEF-9295 | ReqIF | ReqIF files now export correctly even if you toggle off the Description field in the export mapping. |
| SOS-DEF-9307 | ReqIF | Imported text box field values are no longer truncated to 255 characters. The full string length for the field value is now accepted. |
| SOS-DEF-9314 | ReqIF | When importing ReqIFZ files that include embedded images in the Description fields, the image paths are now properly constructed, ensuring the images are correctly displayed in Jama Connect. |
| SOS-DEF-9338 | ReqIF | When reimporting a ReqIF file, Enum (picklist) field values on existing Jama Connect items are now properly maintained even if the picklist values in the ReqIF file do not match the corresponding picklist values. |
| SOS-DEF-9389 | ReqIF | Performance for baseline exports has been improved. |
| SOS-DEF-9340 | ReqIF | Exporting ReqIF files no longer generates duplicated identifier values for integer attributes like Item ID and Project ID. Now, each attribute definition is correctly assigned a unique identifier. |
| SOS-DEF-9360 | ReqIF | During ReqIF export, the special characters < and > are now exported properly, and the resulting file can be reimported without errors. |
| SOS-DEF-9306 | Excel Functions | The "History Since Last Sync" field now syncs correctly. |
Known Issue
When selecting containers for export to ReqIF in the Configure Export Settings wizard, the tree selector is disabled if "Include Top-Level Container in Export" is checked. This will be resolved in a near term release. To work around this in version 1.34, select your containers for export before selecting the checkbox.
