Summary
A user has the possibility of having more than one "Item of type" field in an item type in Jama Connect. When setting up an integration of Jama Connect to Excel functions in Jama Connect Interchange, you might see the following issue when adding an associated group to an existing field mapping:
And not be allowed to create the associated mapping group.
Resolution
This error message is expected as you are not allowed to have multiple associated mapping groups of the same group type in the same base mapping group.
To add another associated mapping group of the same group type you will need to create a new base field mapping group.
