Summary

When importing Excel sheets into Jama Connect Interchange™, calculated cells that use the VLOOKUP function may not correctly update the Jama Connect® item type field. In such cases, the calculated result is not imported into the target field.

Resolution

To avoid this issue, ensure that the input field mapping for the Jama Connect® item type is configured as an integer rather than a text field. This allows the system to correctly interpret and import the calculated value from the Excel sheet.
