Summary

Discrepancies in item counts can exist when comparing the Project Dashboard and the project item view. 

Resolution

• Verify the item count in the Project Summary widget; this particular item count will take into account the project's attachment count.
• Check the 'Attachments' tab in the Project Admin Page to confirm the number of attachments.
• Compare the widget item count with the attachment count plus the project item view item count.

The discrepancies arise from the way item counts are calculated in the dashboard, which includes attachments, while the item view does not. Check the Project Admin page, in the "Attachments" tab and confirm the attachment count.
