Summary

Planview offers on-demand training below. Ensure that the admins you identified to set up your integrations view these trainings. 

1. Installation: (self-hosted only)

   • Installation Primer & Instructions

   • If you purchased Planview Hub Cloud, it is already installed, and you should have received the URL and access instructions. 

   • Contact your Jama Software representative if you are not sure of your URL or where to get installation files

2. Admins: Identify your Integration Hub admins (recommend 2-3) as well as each connected tool's admins (e.g., Jama Connect® + Atlassian Admins)

3. Training: Integration Hub Admins should complete the recommended training:

4. Integration Scope: Decide the specific data patterns to integrate with Jama Connect®. We recommend integrating at specific process points (not duplicating all data across both systems). If unsure, we can help! See patterns and setup below.

1. Need Help? Customers may use their Jama Software® Success Credits to directly engage with the Jama Services team for guided integration consulting and setup. 

   1. We have an Integration Hub setup service in our catalog, which your Named Support Contact may request directly from our site.

   2. If you have questions or need assistance with any items, please contact your Jama Software® Customer Success Manager or Planview representative.

2. Prepare Jama Connect: Set up the item types and fields to receive integrated data. Here is a good example article on preparing Jama Connect® for a Jira integration. 

3. Self-starter? Follow the instructions in the quick start guide to set up your first integration, and review the Connector Documentation for the specific tools you are integrating with. 

   • We strongly recommend first connecting sandbox environments (or sandbox "projects" in a production environment) to test the integration

4. Integration Patterns: Planview has Jama Connect® specific integration patterns and demos.
