Error When Provisioning using .jama Backup "Poorly formed data URL"

Summary

When attempting to deploy Jama Connect using a .jama backup. The logging inside the core-0 pod (contour.log) shows:

Response error: Status: 500, Status reason: "Internal Server Error", Message: "Poorly formed data URL: <NameOfJamaBackupFile>.jama", Content-Type: "application/json"

The Restore Jama Backup section requires the .jama file to be in /data/restore/... and the full path to the file listed in the 'Backup file' box.

Resolution

This indicates that you are missing the /data/restore/ path in the Restore Jama Backup section of the KOTS Admin Config. This error message:
 
Message: "Poorly formed data URL: jama_prod_202507030411.jama",
 
indicates you are missing the required /data/restore/... path. Here are the instructions in the KOTS Admin config:
