Summary
If you experience an issue where clicking the "Download Report" or "Export Report" button takes you to an unexpected Jama login page, it may be due to a mismatch between the Base URL and your current Jama instance location. Please consult your Jama administrator to verify that the Base URL is configured correctly. For cloud-hosted customers, Jama Software is your administrator, and you can contact their support team for help with these steps.
Solution
Ensure the Base URL Configuration is verified correctly. This can be confirmed in two locations:
Admin Account:
You can view the base URL, but you are not allowed to make any changes.
Root Account:
You can view and update the Base URL configuration from the root account.
If the Base URL is incorrect, please update it to match the actual URL of your instance. For instructions on how to update the base URL using the Change URL Job, refer to Run the "Change URL and "Fix URL References" Jobs. For cloud customers, if the Base URL seems different from what it should be, you can contact the support team for assistance.
Confirm the User is Using the Correct URL:
Ensure the user is accessing the correct and intended URL for the application.
Cause
Users may be redirected to a different login page if the Base URL points to another domain or subdomain.
