Roundtrip Export from Single-Item View Is Missing Content

Summary

When exporting an item from the single-item view using RoundTrip export, certain fields or content, such as test steps, are missing from the exported file, even though the information is present in the item.

Resolution

This is expected behavior. The content included in the export is determined by the fields selected for display in the list view of the set where the item is located.

To ensure the missing content is included in the export:

1. Navigate to the set containing the affected item.
2. Open the list view for that set.
3. Configure the list view to include the fields that are missing from the export, such as test steps.
4. Return to the item and perform the export again.
5. Verify that the previously missing fields are now included in the exported file.

To include additional content in the export, the corresponding fields must first be added to the list view.
