Summary

Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) attachments are supported in Jama Connect® cloud-hosted environments beginning in version 9.35.x. However, SVG support is disabled by default in cloud instances.

SVG files are commonly used for diagrams, icons, and other technical visuals. This article outlines current system behavior and the process required to enable SVG attachment support when needed.

Resolution

If an organization wants to enable SVG attachments, the following steps must be completed:

  • A Named Support Contact must submit a request through the Jama Software Support Portal.
  • The request must explicitly state the need for SVG attachments and identify the specific instance(s) in which they should be enabled.
  • The Support team will review the request and coordinate any required configuration steps.
  • Once approved and implemented, SVG attachments will be enabled for the specified environment(s).
