Summary

This error occurs when a non-root user attempts to log in using the /casper/login.req login URL. The https://baseurl/casper/login.req login is exclusively reserved for the root account and cannot be used with basic username and password credentials for non-root user accounts.

Resolution

Ensure that the /casper/login.req login is only used with the root account credentials.

For non-root user accounts that are not SSO-enabled and require local authentication, it is recommended to switch to multi-mode authentication (Basic + SAML). This allows non-SSO users to log in using their local Jama credentials while keeping SSO enabled for other users.
