Issues when enabling Horizontal Scaling "Failed to setup database - old database mismatch"

Environmental details: Self-hosted Jama Connect with Horizontal Scaling enabled

Summary

When enabling Horizontal Scaling, you run into the following issue:

Failed to setup database - old database mismatch

Solution

Please double-check the name of the Jama Database:

• As defined on the KOTS Admin console (ensure there are NO extra characters including spaces)
• The Jama Database Name, as defined on the KOTS Admin console, needs to match exactly when using it for creating the Quartz database, which is required for enabling Horizontal Scaling. 

Cause

Extra characters (like extra space) in the Jama database name (as configured on the KOTS Admin console) did not match with the Jama database name used to create the Quartz database. 

Prevention

Please ensure that the Jama database Name configured on the KOTS Admin console is exactly the same (no extra characters including spaces) as when used to create the Quartz database.
