How to revoke an approver´s signature in a "In Progress" or a closed review?

Summary:

This article will teach you how to remove an approver´s signature in an active/In Progress or closed review.

By design, you cannot delete a review with a signature in it, so it is expected that you will not see the icon Delete in the Action column. Even a user account with admin rights cannot see this option. So, to make this happen, please follow the steps below.

Solution:

Removing the approver´s signature and restoring the Delete icon in an Active or "In Progress" Review:

1. Go to Admin tab > Organization tab > Review Center. Deactivate the "Require electronic signatures from approvers" checkbox and then click Save.

2. Go back to the review that has the signature and click Publish New Revision

3. Check the review´s Stats; the signature will be cleared up, and the Delete icon will show up.

Removing the approver´s signature and restoring the Delete icon in a Closed/Completed Review:

1. Disable the Signature Settings by going to the Admin tab > Organization tab > Review Center. Deactivate the "Require electronic signatures from approvers" checkbox and then click Save.

2. Go to the Review Center list, and search for the closed review. Then click the "Reopen" icon , located in the Action column. Then a small screen will show up. Select the desired deadline date.

3. Continue with the rest of the process beginning from step # 2 mentioned in the section Removing the approver´s signature and restoring the Delete icon in an Active or "In Progress" Review 

Cause: I cannot delete a signed review or remove the signature.
