Can't See the "Add Test Cases to Group"

Summary

When adding Test Cases to a Test Plan, the "Add Test Cases to Group" side panel may not appear. As a result, you can't drag and drop Test Cases into the Test Plan, as shown in the screenshot below.

Resolution

This issue typically occurs because the Test Plan is locked. You can confirm this by looking for the message above the Default Test Group that says "Unlock test plan to manage test cases." You can also open the Test Plan details page and check for the lock icon in the upper-right corner.

To resolve the issue, unlock the Test Plan. If you don't have permission to do so, ask a user with the appropriate permissions to unlock it. Once the Test Plan is unlocked, the "Add Test Cases to Group" side panel will appear, allowing you to assign Test Cases to Test Groups.
