How to Find Reviews of a Certain Item

Summary

Users can identify which review(s) an item participated in by viewing that item’s Review Comments in Single Item View. The Review Comments widget groups comments by review, which provides the review context for that item. This approach depends on review comments being enabled to appear in the Single Item View at the organization level (and enabled at the time of review creation).

Resolution

Below you will find the instructions for finding reviews of a certain item:

  1. Open the item in Single Item View.
  2. Open the Review Comments widget.
  3. Review the comments shown there—they are grouped by review, so you can identify which review(s) the item was part of.

If you don’t see the Review Comments widget / no comments appear:

  1. Ensure the organization setting is enabled (Admin action):

  • Go to Admin > Organization > Review Center.
  • Enable the setting to allow review comments to appear in the single item view, then Save.

  1. Understand the “enabled at review creation time” limitation:

  • If the Admin-level setting was disabled when the review was created, then comments from that review will not display in Single Item View for that item.
  • If the Admin-level setting was enabled when the review was created, then comments will appear (and visibility can be controlled at the review level).
