Export as .docx Format Instead of .doc

Summary

Currently the provided exports are done in .doc format, but you might want to use a .docx format. This article goes over creating a word export using a .docx template instead of doc.

Resolution

1. Open the item or set that you want to export. Click export, and then select "View all export options"

   

2. Let's get the template to use in the new export (If you already have a template in the .docx format ignore this step and jump to step 3). If you would like the default word export or another existing word export, you can download the template on that export. On the image below you can see the "Download Template" option in the top right corner.

   

   • If the template is in the .doc format, go ahead and convert the template to .docx format.

3. Select the "Upload Template" option in the top left corner. Choose the file, fill out the information in the "Share this" section and click "Save Report"

   

4. The report should then be created, and you will be able to export in the .docx format.
