Summary 

This article explains how to re-upload the out-of-the-box (OOTB) Jama Connect "Export to Excel Default" template (boilerplate.xls) to your instance.

This is caused when the out-of-the-box Excel template is modified and now needs to restore it to the original version.

Resolution 

Restoring the Default Boilerplate Template

1. Download the attached boilerplate Excel template.
2. In Jama Connect, navigate to:
   Export > View All Export Options > Export to Excel Default > Edit
3. Upload the provided template file.
4. Save the report.

To avoid losing customized or default templates in the future:

• Keep a backup of any modified templates before making changes.
