Summary 

This article explains how to re-upload the out-of-the-box (OOTB) Jama Connect 'Export to Word Default' template (boilerplate.doc) to your instance. This is caused by the modification of the out-of-the-box Word template, and now needs to restore it to the original version.

Resolution 

Restoring the Default Boilerplate Template

  1. Download the attached boilerplate Word template.
  2. In Jama Connect, navigate to:
    Export > View All Export Options > Export to Word Default > Edit
  3. Upload the provided template file.
  4. Save the report.

To avoid losing customized or default templates in the future:

  • Keep a backup of any modified Word templates before making changes.
