Summary

Some users have asked how to see the version of a requirement assigned to a test case in the Verification Report. Currently, the report does not show the version being verified, which can be confusing if multiple versions of a requirement exist.

Recommended Steps

  1. Create a Baseline
Before running your Test Cycle, create a Baseline of the requirements. This “freezes” the versions you want to test.

  2. Check the Baseline
Use the Baseline to confirm which items were verified and their corresponding version numbers.

  3. Label Test Plans and Cycles
Include the Baseline ID in the name of your Test Plan or Test Cycle for easy reference.

Why This Happens

The Verification Report currently does not display the version of each requirement. This can make it difficult to track which version was tested when multiple versions exist.

Tips for Future Use

  • Use Baselines regularly to clearly track which versions of requirements are being tested.

  • Naming Test Plans/Cycles with the Baseline ID helps maintain clarity.

Additional Information

  • A feature request has been submitted to include requirement versions in the Verification Report.
