If you manage a self-hosted Jama Connect environment using Replicated (Standard/Native/Legacy) or Replicate (KOTS) and are planning an upgrade, this article will guide you through our recommended best practice: scheduling a Pre-Upgrade Consultation with our Installation and Upgrade experts.

By following the steps here, you’ll:
Ensure your environment is ready before the upgrade.
Reduce the risk of downtime or unexpected issues.
Know exactly which form to submit and how to prepare for the consultation.
Scheduling a pre-upgrade consultation is the best way to ensure your team has a smooth and successful upgrade.
Implementation: How to Schedule Your Pre-Upgrade Consultation
Go to the Jama Software Support Portal
Submit a Request
Select the Request a Solutions Offering, Training, or Technical Service form.
Enter the Subject
Type Pre-Upgrade Consultation in the Subject field.
Click Continue
This will take you to the ticket creation page.Continue with Ticket Creation
Review and proceed to the form.
Select the Requested Solution Offering
In the pick-list, choose Self-hosted: Install / Upgrade Consultation Technical Service.
Complete the Form and Submit
Fill in all required fields and click Submit to send your request.Next Steps After Submission
Once your request is received, it will be assigned to our Technical Services Delivery Team for review. A team member will reach out directly to schedule your pre-upgrade consultation and provide guidance to ensure a smooth upgrade.
