Problem/Summary:

Document properties are sometimes used inside Word templates as variables. While the properties are on the uploaded template, Jama will overwrite several of these properties when a report is generated, and the templated variables will display unexpectedly.

Details:
To view the docproperties from Word, navigate to File > Info > Properties < (dropdown )Advanced Properties > Summary
info_docproperties.png

Press `alt` + `f9` when viewing a Word document to show or hide any field codes.

Properties that Jama may update when generating a report:
CreatedTime
LastSavedTime
TotalEditingTime
Company
RevisionNumber
Version
Subject
Title
Author
LastSavedBy

Prevention:

The two known workarounds are to
(a) Hard-code the document property into the template (i.e., don't rely on the DOCPROPERTY to set a variable.
(b) Utilise a custom property. These should be revised when a report is generated.
