Summary

Before adding a filetype to the Jama Attachment whitelist, please ensure that they are not an executable file. This can pose a security risk and is not supported. 

Solution

To add the filetype to the Jama whitelist, please follow the below steps:

  • Login to your Jama instance with root credentials.
  • Navigate to System Properties
  • Click on Edit
  • Add the filetype under the section: "Attachment File Extensions (comma, space, or newline delimited) Set to blank to reset:"
  • Click Save to ensure the changes persist.
