SMTP Authentication for Microsoft SQL Server
Exchange Online will permanently remove support for Basic Authentication with Client Submission (SMTP AUTH) in September 2025. To account for the new configuration and reduce confusion, SMTP settings have been moved to a new tab in the root menu, under System Properties > Outgoing Email (SMTP).
