Jama Connect Interchange™ v1.23
Importing Mixed Specifications (ReqIF)
To preserve structure and ensure your data is imported accurately, you can now import a file containing mixed specifications.
- Mixed specifications refer to specifications that contain items of more than one spec-object, such as requirements, text, and folders. Multiple types of requirements can also be included, such as functional and non-functional requirements.
- You can import these mixed-specification files into Jama Connect by mapping them to the appropriate item types, such as, Requirement, Text, and Folder.
Important: After upgrading to Jama Connect Interchange 1.23, any existing conversations must be remapped.
Handling Deleted Objects (ReqIF)
You now have the option to exclude items marked as deleted from being imported, which helps prevent unwanted data from being imported into the system. During import, if a defined attribute (for example, ReqIF.ForeignDeleted) is set to "true" for an item, that item and all its child items are excluded.
Export from Location, Baseline, or Filter Available for All Conversation Types (ReqIF)
Previously, exporting from a baseline or filter was limited to Jama Connect to Jama Connect conversations. Now, you have the flexibility to export from these options for any conversation type.
