New Tag Management Option for Locked Items
Organization and project admins can now enable the Allow tag management for locked items option for a project, which allows users to add and remove tags from user-locked items and system-locked items per project. This functionality is available across multiple views: Single Item View, List View, Bulk Edits, and via the Public API.
Reading View EOL
As part of our commitment to continuously enhance the user experience and provide more powerful tools, we have decided to retire Reading View within the first half of 2025 (9.23). With this in mind, Document View, released in Jama Connect Cloud 8.82.0, is your go-to view as a replacement for Reading View. Document View not only encompasses all the capabilities of Reading View, but also delivers significant enhancements that support your workflow efficiency and collaboration needs.
To ensure a smooth transition, we encourage you to explore Document View as soon as possible if you haven't already done so. Resources are available in the Jama Connect Help, and our support team is ready to assist with any questions or challenges during this transition.
Simplified Baseline Comparison Export Options
In this release, the Export option in the Baseline Comparison window has been removed. Based on usage data and customer feedback, we found that users prefer to access baseline comparison reports directly from the Reports menu.
