Summary

In this article, you will learn about the Recent Activity dashboard widget.

Solution

Recent Activity is located in the Project section > dashboard tab. Click the Add widget button to see this widget. This tab is included in all projects to be managed for public purposes.

Exploring Recent Activity: I have created a new project so we can track this better: "Brand New Project." As you can see in the below image, the Recent Activity tracks any interaction that may alter the project. So, this widget only counts all interactions done per day and the time they are displayed in a graph or table.

If I create a set and a single item, this will count as two events, making it four (4). Example below:

Suppose you modify or create something as a regular user in the project. In that case, the graph will not automatically refresh itself unless you click on a different section of Jama or refresh the whole website and will do so. You can do this manually by clicking the small Refresh icon at the top of the widget.

If you want a different view, a little more organized according to time, you can click the three lines icon, and a small table will appear below the graph. In the same option, you can export this information in different formats, as shown below.

You can still filter the data that you want to see according to the number of months or by 30 days and including changing the graph name by default "Recent activity" by clicking the gear icon at the top too:
